Abby the Librarian has posted an interview with me, in which I answer questions about the DUMB’s title, and confess that I’m a Britney Spears fan. (Sorry Mum and Dad – you did your best.)
By the way, anyone heading over here from Abby’s site expecting to see photos of Seattle’s most infamous dwellings, here we go:
The first photo below is Kurt Cobain’s house. Notice that it’s very lovely, and very large, and worth MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Clearly the guy didn’t blow all his money on heroin after all.
The second photo is (or rather was) Jimi Hendrix’s boyhood home. Notice that it’s falling apart, and stuck on the edge of a trailer park, and . . . oh yeah, it doesn’t even exist anymore! (Read my book and you’ll find out why.)
I’ll post more pictures once DUMB is released in a couple of weeks.

Thanks, Maddz. Yeah, it was pretty incredible for me to see those places too. Once I had a clear image of where the houses were and how they looked, it changed what I wrote about them. Very cool!
