ELEMENTAL news (and giveaway!)

So I have this new fantasy trilogy coming out. It’s called ELEMENTAL, and the first book comes out in fall 2012. I’m incredibly excited about it, and the editing is going really well. There’s no doubt this is some of the best stuff I’ve ever written.

Just as exciting, bloggers are getting on board (dystopian fantasy is rather popular, you see). And today, my first official ELEMENTAL interview has posted over at Presenting Lenore, as part of her Dystopian August series. Amongst other things, I confess that I’m a chronically slow reader, and also detail my daughter’s issues with Mary Poppins. (What could be more dystopian that that?) In a particularly delightful coincidence, Lenore also has a fantasy novel called LEVEL TWO coming out in fall 2012, and it sounds awesome.

Best of all, you can enter to win signed copies of both FIVE FLAVORS OF DUMB and an ARC of THOU SHALT NOT ROAD TRIP. Go on . . . what are you waiting for?

  1. Safari Poet says:

I’ve already check it out. Elemental sounds great :-)

  2. Antony says:

Thanks, Safari Poet. I do hope everyone will like ELEMENTAL. Personally, I’m giddy with excitement.

  3. Capillya says:

You know, I’m currently at 233 on my Google Reader and I was considering waiting until playing catchup tonight or this weekend but when I saw this post bolded and unread, I couldn’t help but cheat a little. And I’m heading over to Lenore’s (love her!) blog right now. Can’t wait to hear more about Elementals!

  4. Antony says:

Yay for cheating! (Actually, I’m not sure what 233 on the Google Reader means, but it’s a very high number, and sounds rather intimidating. Good luck with that.) And yes, Lenore is wonderful. I’m so glad her debut, LEVEL TWO, is generating so much buzz already. I’ll be doing everything in my power to steal an ARC of that one!

  5. Capillya says:

Aaack. I just read more about Elementals, and left her a comment. 233 means I have that many posts to read in my Google Reader feed! It’s extremely tempting to just hit Mark All As Read, in such a situation. ;)

  6. Antony says:

Whoa – 233 posts to read. Well, I’m doubly honored that you bumped mine to the top of the list. And yes, I have to agree, it might be good for your sanity to do a surreptitious “mark all as read.” I promise I won’t tell anyone!
